Student projects on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the SSK

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the SSK in October 2024, students from the universities of Fulda and Neu-Ulm developed digital projects on the topic of “radiological protection” as part of academic achievements. Content-related specifications were deliberately omitted. The results reflect an unfiltered PERSPECTIVE Z on the topic of radiological protection. During the 50th anniversary celebrations in Berlin, two serious games created in this way and a website with mobile apps were presented.

Glossary "Radiological Protection"

In 2020, a working group of the SSK began to compile and coordinate glossary terms from the field of radiological protection. The definitions of these terms were adopted by the SSK at various meetings. The respective adoption date is included with each definition of the term. The glossary is available in German language at  https://glossar-ssk.de

The published definitions of terms are intended to provide a better understanding of the SSK consultation results. The SSK considers this glossary to be a “living” document; it should be supplemented and adapted as necessary, e.g. as part of the development or updating of SSK consultation results. The SSK does not claim general validity, especially when used in third-party publications. An English Version is in progress, but not available to the public.
